In Velen, Geralt meets the Bloody Baron who helps later, only after a series of adventures. This takes you to the next location, Novingrad. Here, Geralt’scriminal friend Dandelion gives further clue to Ciri’s whereabouts. The final place is Skellige. The major event that occurs here is the dilemma Geralt faces about his lover, Yennefer and the presence of the ugly creature, Uma during Ciri’s escape.
The best part about Act 1 is that you can finish of the main quests in any of the locations and come back to that location later. Means, I would first play the quests in Novingrad, then go to Velen and then sail back to Skellige. The order does not matter!
Act2- Uma’s Curse:(Spoiler Alert!) This Act is about the quests you will have to play to release Uma from his curse, which turns him into Avallac’h. He then tells that Ciri is in the Island of Mist. The “Isle of Mists” is one of the main quests that which will lead you to Ciri. They now encounter Wild Hunt, who want Ciri for their own cunning intentions.
Act 3-Wild Hunt: After the close call between the Witchers and the Wild Hunt, the Witchers plan to kill the leader of the Wild Hunt, Eredin. In this final act, Ciri makes an important sacrifice which could decide the fate of your entire game. Choose wisely! An interesting quest in this act is the final quest “Something Ends, Something Begins”. This quest decides if all those hours of gaming have been fruitful. Your decision will decide the outcome of the game.
