Waymo : How the idea of self driving cars developed

The program used in the working of Waymo is a part of Google X, a secret research part of Google. It is so because Google is still working on the testing of Waymo. John Krafick is the chief executive of the Waymo technology. He was an executive of Hyundai N. America before this. Google says that it will soon be ready for production and release it for people. The idea developed when a Google’s self-driving car gave a fully automatic drive to a blind man in the year 2015. Mahan was the first person to travel in the Google’s self-operating car. He calls himself the 1^st rider. Google’s self driving car technology is amazing.

The chief executive of Waymo says that the firm had more interest in transporting, ride share and logistic work instead of developing self-driving cars. The tagline for Waymo is “a new way forward in mobility.” The Waymo firm is testing the self-driven car on public roads. They have done a lot of testing in the simulation. They have completed around one billion miles in simulation testing of Waymo. So now they want to test in the working and performance of Waymo on public roads. Till now, they have completed around 1 million miles on the public places roads.

As soon as the complete process of testing completes Waymo will be launched for the general public. Dmitri Dolgov, head of Self-controlled tech unit of Google’s Waymo announced that still there is a lot of work to do0 in it. They are working to make better maps for navigation. They are also working hard to give a good driving experience to Waymo in tough weather like heavy rain and snowfall. Google‘s idea is to make Waymo completely human independent and self-driving whereas other competitors. Uber is working with Ford to bring its own cars. Top companies like Apple Inc. is also giving a tough competition to Google. According to a news source Bloomberg, there are reports that Alphabet’s semi-independent cars will also be visible on the roads as 2017 ends. Alphabet will team up with Chrysler.

According to a news source Bloomberg, there are reports that Alphabet’s semi-independent cars will also be visible on the roads as 2017 ends. Alphabet will team up with Chrysler.
