Flipkart Billion Capture Plus: Just when the competition and the choices can’t get any bigger, then and there, Flipkart now has stepped into the smartphone game also. Flipkart on Friday has finally now unveiled its first Billion branded smartphone, the Capture+, that has been so long awaited in India. The Billion self-brand was first announced in July this year and is an India-focused private label from the Flipkart. The company states that the Billion private label now has been fully developed along with keeping in mind the consumer needs of the Indian customers and is so ‘Made in India‘ product. Some of the highlights of the Flipkart Billion Capture Plus new smartphone includes the dual rear cameras, fast charging support, and also unlimited cloud storage.

Flipkart Billion Capture Plus Features
The Flipkart Billion Capture Plus has been launched in India with a starting affordable price of Rs. 10,999 for 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. There is another variant priced at Rs. 12,999 for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Capture+ is supposed to have a long battery life and super fast charging within 15 minutes.
The Flipkart has also announced launch offers where consumers that want to get this latest smartphone has also finance options such as No Cost EMI, and discounts on select debit/credit cards and more. So it definitely comes across as a super affordable phone to buy.
Also, The e-commerce retailer has confirmed that the launch of its Billion Capture+ smartphone in India shall start on November 15.
Flipkart Billion Capture Plus specifications have now been confirmed by the company and are as follows-
Flipkart Billion Capture Plus Price– Rs 10,999 for the 3GB RAM version, while the Flipkart Billion Capture Plus 4GB RAM variant will cost Rs 12,999.

Display- 5.5-inch full HD display with 401 PPI and 2.5D Dragontrail glass on top for extra protection for the smartphone.

Storage– 32GB/64GB storage on board. This is also expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card.
Flipkart Billion Capture Plus Camera– On the camera front, it has a 13MP + 13MP set up at the back with ‘Super Night mode’, ‘Bokeh effect’ as well. The front camera has 8 MP.
Sensors– Flipkart is using RGB and monochrome sensors for the ‘Bokeh’ effect on the smartphone.
Battery-powered 3,500mAh battery with the company claiming “two days of uninterrupted battery life.” This has a USB Type C charger and Quick Charge with Flipkart promising seven hours of battery life with just 15 minutes of charging.

The Flipkart Billion Capture Plus new smartphone will be available in two types of configurations – 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, which is priced at Rs 10,999 and the other one is 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM which is priced at Rs 12,999. However, both the variants do come in two colours: Black and Desert Gold.
Flipkart will also be offering “No Cost EMI,” discounts on the leading debit/credit cards for the sale of its Billion Capture+ phone that has started.
On the design front, Flipkart says the new Billion Capture+ has a very premium metal body crafted. And for the servicing, the phone will be supported thus by the pan India service network of F1 Info Solutions, which is now owned by Flipkart too. The company is also stated to be claiming it will have around 130 service centers for its phones in over 125 cities in the country soon.
The Billion Capture+ phone also will come with unlimited cloud storage as well and shall be running stock Android Nougat. The company is also promising a guaranteed upgrade to Android Oreo for the phone soon.
Smartphones are obviously a major category and driving sales for both Flipkart and its rival Amazon India and so both are involved in the competition. So it is interesting to see that Flipkart is now getting into space with its own device. It has previously however launched some of its tablets before however, they did not come into much notice but this time, with the launch of this smartphone, it seems to be changing the game for itself finally. Of course, this is not the first time that Flipkart has entered the competition and have tried to launch a hardware device. The Indian e-commerce giant had launched its Digiflip Pro series of tablets in 2014 as said before but this time maybe, with such features and at an affordable price, its latest smartphone might change the game and turn the tables in favour of the Flipkart.
