According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp anounced that a privacy feature to manage effects for the camera and video calls was available. This option is quite similar to the features already present in the Whatsapp for android OS., this update will offer a better video calling experienced for iOS users too.

WhatsApp has rolled various features for the beta version. WhatsApp iOS users can now choose to enable or disable various effects, such as facial filters, skin smoothing, low-light mode, and dynamic background effects, directly from the camera interface or through the privacy settings within the app. With the latest WhatsApp updates for iOS, WhatsApp continues to enhance the user experience by introducing innovative tools and options for greater customization.

Thanks to the latest WhatsApp for iOS 24.25.93 update, which is available on the App Store, we discovered that WhatsApp is rolling out a feature to apply AR effects, backgrounds, and filters to the camera!

Some users find these new AR effects, filters, and backgrounds super cool and have already tweeted about the same. You have to click on the Wand icon to enable these filters and background effects. When you click on the wand icon you can choose and play with various AR effects such as applying animated effects like confetti or stars that hovers up over the screen.

One can also change the colour filters, choose the colour tone according to the background during an ongoing video call and turn on various background effects to make the video call experience better. It also gives you the power to create custom visual effects. You can also use the ‘Gootface’ effect and alter the facial effects.
