What is Picture in Picture mode?
It is a feature that allows you to play music or non-music content in the PiP mode which means one can watch videos in a small view while browsing other apps simultaneously.
The feature is available for both premium and non premium users of iPone and iPad users but there is a twist in the story. It is available to non premium users only in United States till now.
Users were waiting for this feature from a long time. Now TeamYoutube made an official tweet and announced the launch of this feature.

The premium subscribers can enjoy the feature in all the countries. Some users tweeted their reaction on the update. One of the users said the PiP mode has always been working for him in iOS since 2021.
